The Brothers' Place offers accommodations to Beaver Island visitors in a rustic north woods' atmosphere just a ten-minute walk south of St. James. Our lodge was formerly owned and operated for more than 70 years as a summer retreat house by the Christian Brothers religious order. Isle Haven consists of four efficiency apartments with weekly rentals (Saturday to Saturday). Each apartment has two bedrooms complete with a full kitchen, bathroom and living room on one of the island’s most beautiful beaches and is located very close to town. One bedroom has a double bed and the other has two single beds, with a futon in the living room that folds down to a double size bed. All you really need to bring are sheets and towels since there are plenty of pillows and blankets in each apartment. Summer rentals are $600/week.
