When we decided to construct the bakery deli on the Harbor, we decided not to skip the opportunity to include apartments above it. This is one of the finest views of the harbor. You can literally see everything going on from this beautiful porch. The Wagner Apartment is named for Glen and Jane Wagner who have occupied it for every summer since it was constructed. Much of the furnishings are from their former home on Sand Bay. Our dear friends, the Wagners, are here for part of the summer now, so some other rental time is still available. Call us! The other apartment is referred to as The Ambassador Apartment, named for one of it's more famous guests; the Irish Ambassador to the United States. We invited Ambassador Dermot Gallagher and his family to Beaver Island. They accepted and stayed for several days. They remain our good friends. Since that time, this apartment has been used by many State and Federal dignitaries on their trips to Beaver Island. |
