Beaver Island offers a serene, relaxed life-style and run.  Enjoy beautiful and rare wild flowers along the old roads and trails as you run on pavement and "foot-friendly" clay, dirt and gravel roadways.

THE ISLAND BOODLE 5K RUN
Come and join us for the annual 5K/Run/Walk starting in scenic St. James and offering a fast, beautiful lakefront and trails course.

Museum Week

Discover Beaver Island history with the annual Museum Week full of informative and entertaining events. Music; presentations on nature, Oral History, and Native American culture; and Nature Walks, a Pet Show, and an Art Show.

All of the most-loved events will be reprised, from Jim Gillingham’s exciting presentation on reptiles and amphibians through the Art Show, Pet Show, and special Nature Walks to Pinky’s popular high-stakes Bingo. And, except for the Nature Walks, there will be no charge for any event. Of course donations are always appreciated.
