The Beaver Island Municipal Marina is located in the heart of the St. James Township community right next to the ferry dock. The marina facility is only a few years old and features a comfortable lounge, spacious bathrooms and showers and a large picnic area. The Municipal Marina can accommodate small boats up to medium size yachts with drafts up to 8 feet. The professional Harbor Master monitors channel 16.
A variety of shops and stores are just steps away. The Chamber of Commerce has an office on the property and provides free Wi-Fi to the dock area as well as maps and Beaver Island Information. The Community Center across the street provides year around entertainment with a robust summer schedule.
