Paradise Bay Boat Charters and Dive Shop provides a variety of water entertainment and adventure. SCUBA diving and boat charters are available. PADI dive classes are taught at many levels and instructed by certified master PADI instructor, Captain Mike Weede. Captain Mike also holds a 100 ton Coast Guard License.
Choose your trip: a private charter to one of the outer islands; a two tank dive on one of Beaver Island's shipwrecks; a snorkel on shore or on a shipwreck; a sunset cruise or a combination of all of the above and more. A short trip around Paradise Bay may be your desire. We will customize our trips to provide you with the best water experience on the island. The Beaver Island Municipal Marina is located in the heart of the St. James Township community right next to the ferry dock. The marina facility is only a few years old and features a comfortable lounge, spacious bathrooms and showers and a large picnic area. The Municipal Marina can accommodate small boats up to medium size yachts with drafts up to 8 feet. The professional Harbor Master monitors channel 16.
A variety of shops and stores are just steps away. The Chamber of Commerce has an office on the property and provides free Wi-Fi to the dock area as well as maps and Beaver Island Information. The Community Center across the street provides year around entertainment with a robust summer schedule. The Beaver Island Municipal Marina, often called the Yacht Dock, offers home style comfort and traditional Beaver Island hospitality in the most beautiful protected harbor in the Great Lakes, Paradise Bay.
