The Homestead

New to the rental market, the Homestead is a home away from home for those looking to relax and enjoy island living. Located on Kings Highway, right past the Health Center, it is a 3-minute drive, or 8-minute bike ride/walk to Paradise Bay (town and public beach), and a 5-to-8-minute drive to the beach/sunsets on Donegal Bay. The Homestead can accommodate 15 guests and consists of a main house tastefully furnished in modern farmhouse style that comfortably sleeps 7 in three bedrooms. The large master bedroom has a king size bed, a sitting area and an on-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. A second bedroom has a king size bed and plenty of closet space. The third bedroom has a full/twin bunk bed. All beds are furnished with pillows, blankets and or quilts for those chilly nights. You will need to bring your own bed sheets and towels. A second bathroom has a cast iron clawfoot tub which is great for relaxing after a long day at the beach or exploring the island.

Prepare meals in a renovated, fully furnished kitchen with a 6 burner Viking stove and dishwasher, microwave, and an appliance closet (toaster, drip coffee maker, Keurig, blender, crock pot, hand mixer, coffee grinder, French press, food scale, rice cooker). Relax by the wood burning stove and watch movies in the living room on the Smart TV equipped with Firestick so that you can log into your personal streaming accounts. Gather with friends and family in the open concept sitting room/dining area adjoining the kitchen. Store adult beverages in the wine fridge or the beverage server. A washer and dryer are available for your use.

There is room for 8 more people to stay in the adjoining Bunk House which has a bedroom furnished with a king size bed, a second bedroom/game room with 2 full/twin bunk beds, board games, dart board, bathroom with a shower, and a small kitchen area with a microwave and coffee maker.

Spend time outdoors in the large yard with a fire pit, hammock, gas grill, volleyball net, picnic table, 2 bicycles, and other yard games (corn hole, bocce ball, yard dice). Several beach chairs and a cooler are provided to make your trip to the beach easier. WIFI is available for your convenience throughout the property.

No smoking and no pets allowed.

Weekly rental (Saturday to Saturday, check in 3pm, check out 10am)
$1850 or $300 per night if less than a week.
